3rd year at VGM
My name is Lakshmi Krishnan. I am happy to return for my third year at Village Green Montessori. I’m thrilled to be working as an assistant teacher this year in addition to being in the nap room and after school club. I am very grateful to be a part of the VGM family. I am pleased to be helping the teachers and children in all ways throughout the school year.
My husband Meiyyappan and I have been married for 14 years. We live in Libertyville and are blessed with two children, Surya (13) and Nila (5) who attended VGM the past two years and is now at Butterfield School for kindergarten. Being a mother of two, I’ve always wanted to be around children. I previously was a volunteer parent at my son’s Montessori school. At that time, I realized that I wanted to be part of Montessori education. While in India, I earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
In my spare time, I love to listen to music, watch TV shows, cook, bake, and spend time with family & friends. It’s going to be an awesome year!
