Hi, my name is Lakshmi Krishnan! I am happy to return for my fifth year at A Village Green Montessori. I’m thrilled to be working as an assistant teacher in the Rainbow Room and nap room. I am very grateful to be a part of the VGM family and look forward to helping the teachers and children in all ways throughout the school year.
While in India, I earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering. In 2024, I earned a Paraprofessional Assistant Teacher Certification from Seton Montessori Institute.
My husband, Meiyappan, and I have been married for 16 years. We live in Libertyville and are blessed with two children: Surya (15) and Nila (7), A VGM alumni. Being a mother of two, I’ve always wanted to be around children. Previously, I volunteered at my son’s Montessori school. At that time, I realized that I wanted to be involved with Montessori education.
In my spare time, I love to listen to music, watch TV shows, cook, bake, and spend time with my family and friends. I’m sure we’re going to have an amazing school year!
